Vikram Gives Importance To Tamil Cinema |
Vikram is the super star of the Tamil Film Industry and always wants to be an integral part of it. In spite of getting a big break by legendry director, Mani Ratnam, he gives value to Tamil Cinema.
The Ram of the modern Ramayana (Raavan) is not drifted towards the Bollywood stream line and still wants to stem in his very own Tollywood.
Vikram adds, “I want to concentrate on Tamil films. I am not really taken up by the fact that I have to do a film in Bollywood because then I’ll have to compromise on my career in Tamil cinema. For that matter, if a good script comes my way, I’ll do it irrespective of the language whether it is Bengali or even Bhojpuri."
He is always ready to do a good script and also thanks to the movie makers of Raavan for a considerable amount of improvement in his Hindi speaking skills.
He adds, “This is one film where my Hindi has improved the maximum because I had an associate who would not speak to me in any other language other than Hindi. For one-and-a-half years, I have been speaking to him in broken, half-baked Hindi.”
