World’s largest supplier of beer, known as the liquor baron, Vijay Mallya, will be the esteemed chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony for short films at the 41st International Film Festival Of India.
Tomorrow, Mallya will be grace the occasion of the 41st International Film Festival, he will be the chief guest and will give away prizes for short films and an environment film award.
Manoj Srivastava, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) told, “Mr. Mallya will be attending award ceremony as chief guest. The SFC concept has clicked well and it has given a platform for the documentary filmmakers. Mr. Mallya`s presence would give a boost to the concept.”
The short films slab has nearly 30 films which will compete with each other, Mallya has been the major sponsor for the SFC awards, he has contributed more than 50 lakhs for the event. In fact, his Kingfisher Airlines are the sponsors of the Kingfisher Village, set for dancing and singing in the event premises.
