Vidya Balan bans smoking on the sets of Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani because she is playing the role of a pregnant woman in the movie.

 

Vidya Balan who is known to be a dedicated actress starts behaving like the character she is playing and currently she is acting as a pregnant woman in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani. She has put forward a no smoking rule on the shooting sets.

 

Vidya’s character is that of a six-month pregnant lady and everyone knows that smoking is injurious to an expecting mother.

 

Though the smokers might feel bitter about it but it is reported that the director is very impressed. The director said, "She's really into the character. So much so that after a while she started freaking us out. She started behaving like an expectant mother and wouldn't let anyone smoke in front of her."

 

But with Vidya getting so much indulged in the character, let’s hope that she doesn’t start gaining those extra kilos and getting morning sickness too.
