She was voted as the ‘Best TV Villain’ in 2007’s Teen Choice Awards and was nominated for best supporting actress at the 59th, 60th Primetime Emmy Awards but model & actress Vanessa Williams is going to do something different this time when she appears as ‘Renee Filmore-Jones’ in ‘Desperate Housewives’.
The former Miss America will be coming as an old college friend and rival of Lynette. However, her character won't have a connection to the season's mystery, but she will have a secret.
Briefing about Vanessa’s role, ABC network said she will portray the role of "a housewife who`s sure to shake things up in the neighbourhood and wreak havoc in the lives of the women of Wisteria Lane."
Meanwhile, Brian Austin Green will also be joining the Wisteria Lane soon in the upcoming seventh season of the show.
