Twilight’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ In Two Versions Kristen Stewart |
It has been revealed that the final installment of the popular ‘Twilight’ series will be splited into two different flicks.
An official statement has been made by Summit Entertainment executives, who are responsible for the distribution of the movie.
Earlier, it was speculated that the ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ will be divided in two parts and will be shot back-to-back but no confirmation was made.
Last year, Stephenie Meyer who is the author of the vampire books also admitted that the decision is still pending. While the leading lady,Kristen Stewart also had urged the bosses to divide the book in two films as the story ‘absolutely warrants two films’.
A statement from the studio reads: "Summit Entertainment confirmed that 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on Nov 18, 2011."
"Academy Award winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner along with Billy Burke as Charlie Swan, as well as returning members of the Cullen Family including Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Ashley Greene as Alice and Kellan Lutz as Emmett,” the statement added.
