‘Twilight’ Will Not Help Robert Pattinson Says Allen Coulter Robert Pattinson |
Director Allen Coulter has admitted that he may have not casted Robert Pattinson alongside Pierce Brosnan in his latest flick ‘Remember Me’ if he had seen ‘Twilight’.
Robert Pattinson portrayed the role of Edward Cullen as a vampire in the blockbuster hit ‘Twilight’ which made the actor latest heartthrob of Hollywood.
According to Allen Coulter ‘Twilight’ did not gave the actor the chance to show his acting traits on screen. He believes that the ‘Twilight’ saga will not help Pattinson to grow as an actor.
Allen Coulter said, "If I had seen 'Twilight', I might not have hired him. He is so limited by the kinds of traits he has to express. It's not that psychologically complex."
However, Allen Coulter is pleased that he took a chance on Robert Pattinson in the New York-based drama. ‘Remember Me’ focuses on a touching love story between Pattinson's emotionally adrift character and a fellow college student.
