This Tollywood dusky beauty has done more than 40 regional language movie, but her entry in Bollywood is only promised by director Priyadarshan. Trisha feels obliged and says a big thanks to him.
Trisha will be seen opposite to Akshay Kumar in the movie, ‘Khatta Meetha’ and it is her first Bollywood break. She is elated at this and feels the need to say a big thanks to the director.
She says. “Priyan sir had seen me in a few ad films and in Falguni Pathak’s music video, ‘Meri chunar udd udd jaye…’. He decided to give me a break but since his film was delayed, I took on a couple of other projects and was eventually launched in Mounam Pesadhaye. Still, I owe a big thank you to Priyan sir.”
Trisha has been dreaming long to work with Priyadarshan and she was narrated the script on phone itself. Things worked out and she got the opportunity to act with a big Bollywood star.
She adds, “Twenty minutes and I was a part of Khatta Meetha. Priyan sir and I have been wanting to work together for a long time. With Khatta Meetha I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about dialogue, costumes or footage. Priyan sir is very precise in his instructions and we completed the film in just two schedules.”
Trisha was also touched by Akshay’s nature and she adds, “He was warm and made me comfortable even though he was working hard to juggle the roles of lead actor and producer.”
