The much awaited Toyota Fortuner has finally hit the Indian markets. It will be available in two variants; a petrol one and a diesel variant. The petrol version will have a 2.5L, 16 valve, 4-cylinder in-line, DOHC engine while the diesel version will feature a 2.7L, DOHC turbo engine. The Fortuner spawned from the Innovative International Multi-purpose Vehicle or IMV project. It was first available internationally in the year 2005. The Sports Utility Vehicle offers a smooth driving experience on roads but can also be used as an off-roader.
