Tees Maar Khan Runs Into Censor Trouble Katrina Kaif |
‘Tees Maar Khan’ releases on, December 24, but the movie has been objected by the Censor Board Committee and they have demanded deletion of 4 scenes from it, else it will be passed with a U/A certificate.
The movie has been objected on four scenes, one being the use of word ‘Sheila’ in the song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ and the exposure done by Katrina in it. Another scene makes use of word ‘pencho’, it has been objected and now it is changed to ‘pinchoo’.
The use of a dialogue in a scene ‘tawaif ki luti izzat bachaana... aur Tees Maar Khan ko kaid karna... dono bekaar hai!’has also been objected and a replacement has been asked to make.
The last scene on which the objection was made is on the use of national flag, the filmmakers has been asked to use any other flag , but not the tricolor.
The screening of the movie was done in Delhi this time, instead of Mumbai and it came as a surprise for the filmmakers as they are used to getting their films screened in Mumbai.
A filmmaker adds, “We were told about the screening, but I got a call at the last minute from the office telling me that the screening had been shifted from Mumbai to Delhi. I wonder why.''
The movie has also been reported to be loosely inspired from Peter Seller’s ‘After The Fox’, since such news has not yet been given by the filmmakers.
