Indian fast bowler Sreesanth is finalising a deal with Warwickshire to play in the forthcoming county season in England.
Speaking to a TV channel in Kothamanagalam on Thursday at the conditioning camp of the probables of the state side, Sreesanth said the deal is almost done and he will be leaving for England in two months' time but refused to reveal the name the county.
A Kerala Cricket Association ( KCA) official said he is closing the deal and it could be to play for Warwickshire.
"The permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India has come and the finalisation of his deal is being done through the agents of the county," said the KCA official, who also added the pacer may lead the state side in the forthcoming domestic series.
Sreesanth last played a one-day international for the country against Australia at Brisbane last March.
His last Test was against South Africa at Kanpur in April last year.
Sreesanth since his one-day debut in October 2005 against Sri Lanka at Nagpur has played 41 matches and has taken 59 wickets for the country.
He played the last few matches for Kings XI Punjab in the second edition of the IPL in South Africa.
