Sonim has released the XP2 Spirit handset which faces the toughest scenarios due to its 'Gorilla Glass'. The octagonal styling and enough protection from outside make it a good pick like the XP3 Enduro set.
The XP2 set has a 2-inch screen with 1.5mm of ‘Gorilla Glass’, which make it a distinct phone. The phone also provides with enough protection from water and temperature. As per the company’s claim, the set can withstand 2m drops, an hour in 1m of water and temperatures up to 55C and down to -20C. Also, each button can be pressed 850,000 times without affecting its structure.
The XP2 Spirit comes with an unconditional 3 year guarantee. So, the set can be used without any confusion. However, the company hasn’t disclosed the details including the pricing and exact availability till now.
