Singer Whitney Houston Comeback Album Released Whitney Houston |
Singer Whitney Houston, who for the past few years had slipped into anonymity as she struggled with drug addiction, is now making a comeback with her new album.
The album titled "I Look To You", is her first in seven years. The 45-year-old launched her new album in the Mandarian Oriental Hotel in London's Knightsbridge. At the launch, she looked the complete opposite of the sickly, worn out person she had been in the past few years.
The billionaire Sir Philip Green was among the celebrities, who all rose to applause as she unveiled the new album.
A few songs from the album have already been leaked online .Some claim that her voice has been ruined, but music magnate Clive Davis thinks otherwise.
"You won't forget it after you hear it. There is a song in the album which is called 'I didn't know my own strength' and it really speaks for Whitney. She tumbled, but she didn't crumble," said Davis, who discovered Houston 25 years ago.
