Popular English television director and good pal of media mogul, Simon Cowell, Nigel Lythgoe has revealed that Cowell is not going to tie knot with his model girlfriend Mezghan Hussainy this year.
Lythgoe informed that the Simon is currently focussing on the launch of the talent show ‘X Factor’ which is scheduled to hit the small screens by the autumn 2011.
"He won't be getting married this year and he doesn't need to rush into it anyway, Simon has a lot to do. He has to prepare himself for the American 'X Factor', to try to create the next biggest show there and he'll be fully focused," Nigel Lythgoe quoted.
The friend of the celebrity also added that Simon doesnot know Mezghan for that long therefore the couple are taking their time before getting into any serious commitment.
He added, "Maybe he's just gearing himself up. He hasn't really known Mezghan for that long. But she was my make-up artist for six years and she and Simon are a good fit. They can make fun of each other. He knew Terri (Simon's ex girlfriend Terri Seymour) for an awful lot longer. It must have been hard enough to propose for him."
