Quite adamant, annoyed, angry and upset, isn’t it? But dear Shilpa, nobody can help it as you know absence from the tinsel town even for some month matters and you are not there for a year now! Give it a thought.
An infuriated Shilpa adds, “Who’s saying all this? I don’t remember telling anybody that I am leaving Bollywood for good. But yes, I don’t need to do the same thing over and over again. You need to evolve and do bigger things like say a fitness DVD (the first actor to do so). I have become finicky as an actor. I won’t take up anything and everything that come my way, but that does not imply that I’m moving away from films. Yes, my priorities have changed, but the hunger for creativity is still there.”
In order to satisfy herself, she says that her sexy ‘Dostana’ song is still enjoyed and remembered, she says, “I’m glad that the song still gets talked about. Yes, I might be doing something like that again, but not in Dostana 2. Among the offers that I’m working on, there are two films that have a potential for great dance numbers. You just might see me doing that once again.”
Poor Shilpa, just counting on hot dance numbers as she knows that she won’t be taken in by the movie-makers for her acting, she is at least justifying the basic psychology ‘Something Is Better Than Nothing’!
