Karan Johar has asked Gurinder Chadha to invite buddies Sharukh and Farah for a special screening of her next film in a bid to break the ice between them that has been there for quite a while now.  Gurinder said, “I am planning a screening in Mumbai and have invited everyone I know in the industry. It was Karan’s wish that I invite his close friends at the event and I am doing just that.”

 

Apparently Karan met Gurinder in London and asked her to hold a special screening of her new film ‘somewhere near Bandra’. He asked her to invite his two close buddies Sharukh and Farah who has been on ‘not-so-good-terms’ now for quite a while. He has promised Gurinder that he would personally take care that his two friends invited the screening.

 

According to sources Farah has confirmed her attendance along with husband Shirish Kunder . Even Gauri has shown interest in attending the function. Sharukh has, howevr, not confirmed anything, neither his presence nor absence.  

 

The cause of the fight is believed to be the fact that Farah signed Akshay Kumar for her film “Tees Maar Khan” which upset Shahrukh. Others say that the cause for her signing Akshay instead of close buddy Sharukh is that Shahrukh kept delaying her film and she did not really have much choice.
