‘Waka Waka’ singer Shakira has joined the likes of celebrity perfumers, Celine Dion, Britney Spears and most recently Jennifer Aniston as she has launched her much awaited perfume, ‘S by Shakira’. The Colombian singer has claimed that her fragrance will be as different and unique as her tracks.
Shakira quoted, “The type of women who feel a connection with this fragrance would be independent and strong, but also a woman with a great capacity to love and a strong sense of who they are. It’s for a woman who believes in herself.”
The 33-year old singer has teamed up with Puig to show her to subtle side to the world.
“Like one of my songs, I wanted S by Shakira to tell a story, and to be something personal and unique. A perfume has to really reflect something inside you, make you connect with it in an emotional way,” she added.
The new fragrance of Grammy Award winner which conveys simplicity and sensuality will hit the market stores in September. The price of ‘S by Shakira’ is expected to be around 17 dollars to 35 dollars.
