Due to Shah Rukh Khan’s statement upon Pakistan that stirred fury in Shiv Sena political party and had caused violence in many theatres state wide had sighed hopefully when his film again reopened in Mumbai.

 

Shah Rukh was honored, when Mahrastra’s Chief Minister made his move to watch his film screening at Mumbai multiplex to mark as a peace process and to further encourage the fear stricken public.

 

Currently, only ten multiplex owners in Mumbai resolved to go ahead with the screening. On the other hand, the single screen theatres are not looking forward to reopen the movie until the Sena withdraws its violence decision.

 

Moreover, they are not provided with full protection as has been privileged by the multiplex theatres.

During the Maharashtra CM’s visit, unprecedented security for the film's release was arranged beforehand in order to avoid trouble of vandalism.

 

While in an another incident to make positive impact upon the public, Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil visited multiplex INOX to watch the first show of 'MNIK'.

 

While Khan who is in Berlin, stated, "good m'ing mumbai. wotever the fate of the film, never wished this upon the city that made my dreams come true & gave me all. i belong to u (sic)."

 

The ‘MNIK’ which happens to be making a houseful impact in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and several other cities. Hope Shah Rukh has a smoother sail later with his “MNIK’.
