Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sues Landlord Over Scaffolding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs |
Rap mogul, entrepreneur and fashion designer Sean 'Diddy' Combs has declared war on the owners of the building which houses his New York flagship operation for failing to take down scaffolding outside the store.
Diddy and the bosses of his Sean John clothing line claim the obstruction is responsible for a massive downturn in sales and they're suing the firm responsible for leaving the scaffolding up.
In a lawsuit filed in New York, the rapper's lawyers claim the building scaffold was put up outside the Fifth Avenue store in 2006 - and it's still there.
They insist the planks and metal structure has "substantially obstructed the view of the clothing and furnishings displayed in the ground floor windows" - and that's cost the Diddy empire dear.
Diddy and his partners are suing their landlords for $2.5 million in damages.
