Just after 43 days of marriage TV star Sara Khan and Ali Merchant decided to separate their ways but former`s mother says that they were never happy with the nuptials.
Seema Khan said that they were never in favour of this relationship and wanted the marriage to be over.
"We never liked Ali and we were opposing their marriage. But today the time has changed. Parents have to follow children, the children don`t follow them. We want this relationship to get over," she said.
Both Sara and Ali who hail from Bhopal came to the glitz and glamour city to make it big in the town. Sara soon earned fame with her lead role in Star Plus`s Sapna Babul Ka – Bidaai while Ali shot to fame with Imagine`s Do Hanson Ka Joda.
Later on November 10, 2010 the pair married inside the Bigg Boss house.
The reason of the rift between the couple is said to be money. According to recent updates Ali had been over spending Sara’s money which made her furious.
A source was quoted as saying, “Ever since the ‘Bidaai’ actress made an exit from ‘Bigg Boss’, she had been squabbling with her hubby over monetary issues. This led to a huge showdown as Sara felt Ali had squandered her earnings. Sara who is now shooting for ‘Ram Milaayi Jodi’ was shocked to know that Ali had turned extra extravagant when she was away in the house.”
“A few days ago, they had a massive argument leading to a bitter fight with Sara telling him to leave their Lokhandwala home. Ali has since then been staying with his parents," the source added.
