Samsung has unveiled its latest Android based handset, the i8520 at the ongoing CommunicAsia Expo in Singapore. The device was revealed at the Mobile World Congress in February 2010.
The i8520 comes with a pico projector at the rear that will enable it to project images on to the nearest wall. The set boasts of a3.7-inch super AMOLED display along with several features like 8MP camera, record and playback of HD videos, a front VGA front camera for video calling, native DivX and Xvid playback support, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n support for Wi-Fi and a 3.5-mm headphone jack.
This is a nice Samsung set that runs on Android 2.1 and also support GSM/EDGE as well as UMTS 900/1900/2100. The cell has 16GB of internal storage and microSD option to compensate the storage requirement of the user.
The i8520 Halo is really an amazing device that can be a nice buy for the customer. However, the pricing and the release date are under wraps.
