The telecom operator T-Mobile has slashed the price of Samsung Galaxy Tab further to $349 from its earlier price $399.
 
T-Mobile has so far been the only telecom service provider in offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab for such low prices. When the device was launched, T-Mobile offered it for $399 after discounting $200 from the original price of $599.
 
Now, the company has announced the discount of $50. The new discounted Samsung Galaxy Tab’s comes with a two-year contract period.
 
However, T-Mobile’s major competitors including Sprint, Verizon Wireless and AT&T, have so far not decreased the price. The AT&T is charging $649, while Verizon Wireless charges $599, with both the companies offering services without contract. Besides, the Sprint is charging $399 for the same, but with a two-year contract.
 
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-based tablet computer developed by Samsung. The device was launched in September 2010. The 7-inches wide touch-screen tablet computer supports features- Wi-Fi, Swype input system, 3.2 mega pixels rear camera and 1.3 mega pixels front facing camera for video calls.
