Salman Khan For Social Awareness Films Salman Khan |
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan would work in 30 short films carrying messages of social awareness.
Boney Kapoor’s SK Enterprises will produce the films, which revolve around topics such as drug, crime, elderly people, among other issues of relevance to the society.
Salman Khan is mostly in news for all the wrong reasons. Be it hunting black bucks, running his car over laborers or his spats with fellow artists. But Salman has a generous side as well, which he never publicizes.
“Salman Khan does a lot for children, slum children, orphans and the handicapped, but he’s the kind of guy who doesn’t like to speak about these things. He quietly does his bit for society, but unfortunately, he’s reprimanded more as the ‘Bad boy of Bollywood’ than applauded as Mr. Nice Guy!” sources close to the actor said.
The short-films would be aired one week before his next movie ‘Wanted’ releases, which is September 18. It is expected that these films targeted at bringing social awareness would help Sallu’s reputation as a kind and generous person. Also, marketing of the movies is supposed to bring limelight to Salman’s new charity concern that’s ‘Being Human’.
