Saira Banu, the ravishing yesteryear’s actress is celebrating her 66^th birthday today i.e. August 23. She is the wife of famous superstar Dilip Kumar.

 

Banu started her acting career with the 1961 hit movie ‘Junglee’ when she was just 17 years old ,opposite to famous Shammi Kapoor.

 

After her first movie there was no turning back for the actress. The other hit movies in which the actress worked are ‘Shagird’, ‘Padosan’ and ‘Bluff master’. She worked with superstars like Sunil Dutt, Kishore Kumar and many more. People still remember her performance in ‘Padosan’ where she acted along with Sunil Dutt and Kishore Kumar.

 

She married the superstar Dilip Kumar in 1966 and after that worked in movies like ‘Shagird’, ‘Diwana’ and ‘Sagina’. She acted with her husband, Dilip Kumar in ‘Duniya’ in the year 1984. Her last movie was ‘Faisla’ which was released in 1988.
