Saif Ali Khan Does Not Dream To Own An IPL Team Because He Is Not A Billionaire Saif Ali Khan |
Saif Ali Khan said that he has shunned his dreams to own an Indian Premier League (IPL) team because he is not a billionaire.
Saif said, "We were at one point considering getting involved (in IPL), but now I think it's has been a blessing in disguise that we didn't. It was far too expensive."
Other actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty also own IPL teams. However, Saif said, "When other people got involved, it was a good idea to get involved then. I am not a billionaire. And now I feel it's all for the best because I'd like to concentrate on films and film production."
Saif has just returned from his break in Switzerland with Kareena Kapoor. Saif is also involved in production work these days and said, “It seems like a natural way to go after years of working for other people. We've learned a lot from other production houses like Yash Raj and Dharma Productions. I'm really grateful to them. Now it's time to do things on your own."
