Sachin Tendulkar’s initial IAF (Indian Air Force) flight ride will most probably take place in Pune. Even though Sachin has been triumphant in the cricketing world so far , this will be first flight of him in a Sukhoi fighter jet.

 

IAF Commander S K Mehta said, "A proposal to fly Tendulkar in Sukhoi has been moved to the Ministry of Defence. It will materialise only after the ministry's approval, Sachin's consent and availability."

 

He further said that this proposal is at the early stage, and no fixed date has been allotted for this to take place till now. Master blaster Sachin is the brand ambassador for IAF too.  

 

IAF official said, "Pune will be an obvious choice if this proposal is given effect."
