Russell Brand May Turn Radio Jockey Again Russell Brand |
Russell Brand slowly and steadily is working hard to stand in the league of Hollywood icons like, Mel Gibson, Russel Crowe and Tom Cruise as after giving a outstanding performance in his latest flick, ‘Get Him to the Greek’ he may host his own radio show in the US soon.
But, radio has not been a lucky platform for the actor as his last experience into radio ended in disgrace after he was forced to quit his popular show on Britain's BBC Radio 2. Brand and fellow broadcaster Jonathan Ross faced a backlash in 2008 after they made a prank call to veteran actor Andrew Sachs.
But, now Sirius Radio has offered the British actor a multi-million dollar deal to host his own segment on the channel.
"The Sirius deal is in its infancy, but Russell is up for it," a source said.
