Hollywood’s favourite leading man Robert Pattinson has come forward to defend his loving lady, Kristen Stewart’s rape comments. Pattinson, 24 blamed the internet journalist for carrying actress’s statement to different direction.
The ‘Twilight’ star said that the online media has blown the 20- year old’s statement out of proportion.
Pattinson quoted, "None of those associations came out and gave a statement (criticizing Kristen) without being called upon by the media first.”
"That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs," he added.
Lately, Stewart faced serious criticism following her statement which she gave to a magazine where she compared her encounters with paparazzi to ‘being raped’. However, the actress later apologised after her comments caused outrage among fans and rape victim’s advocacy organisations.
