Robbie Williams Not Ready For Immediate Reunion With His Former Band Robbie Williams |
Robbie Williams has ruled out a reunion with his former ‘Take That’ band mates in the near future - legal issues mean he cannot rejoin the group until at least 2011.
The five singers have not performed together since Angels hit maker Williams quit, for pursuing a solo career in 1995.
The four other members - Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald - disbanded the group in 1996, but reunited for a hugely successful tour ten years later and have released a string of successful hits in the U.K. since.
All five of the original members were spotted heading into a New York recording studio last month (Sep09), sparking rumours they were working on new material.
But Williams has spoken out to assure fans he is staying a solo act for the time being.
He tells Britain's GQ magazine, "It will happen (a reunion). But not in the next two years. There are contracts to fulfil, then I can do what I want."
