This talented Bengali beauty, Rituparna Sengupta is also occupied as a social worker apart from being involved into acting, this time she is raking news about marital rape in forefront of the public in onscreen which is often sided off in concealment.
Earlier this beautiful lass had appeared in various flicks like ‘Dahan’ and 'Main meri patni Aur Woh’ but she is waiting to display more powerful stuffs onscreen in the coming future.
Though she is quite a fresh in the Bollywood industry she never feels daunted to act in an unglamorous challenging roles that can stir criticism and opposition from the public. Reflecting on to her role in ‘Mittal Vs Mittal’ she sighted that the best part of this movie is that it is not highlighting such sensitive issues but on the other hand reflects solution to this marital problem which often remains in confinement between the couple.
Quite boldly she added, “Look I feel the idea was the content of this film which is very provocative and strong and there is a message attached to it besides an interesting commercial package..it is a delight to work on such subjects”
Feeling sympathetic towards the actual victims, quite in a reflective manner she stated, “I would have felt something like this horrifying!! And I do feel sympathetic about such victims. It is necessary for the women of today to stand up and not succumb to their miseries.”
In the future she is definitely looking forward for doing spicy commercial movies with meaningful insight in it, the actress revealed who currently has handful of good projects like ‘Agah’which is about a coastal gujrati of terrorism insight, next ‘ Tammana’ and ‘Don't Know Why..Na Jaane Kyun’ based on different generations featuring about Helen and Zeenat Aman .
She has lots of expectation from her current film to be released today as she believe it is a hard hitting movie with different concept where for the first time she has made a bold move to bring justice to the victims of marital rape.
