RIM BlackBerry 9800 May Be Unveiled On August 3 RIM BlackBerry 9800 |
RIM is rumoured to launch its BlackBerry 9800 smartphone at the upcoming event in New York on August 3. The set is to be released through AT&T.
The event is also significant in the sense that the company would like to launch its new BlackBerry OS 6.0 along with a new set.
A well known financial analyst said, “I would suspect this would be the new BlackBerry 9800, a touch-screen slider phone. It was well known it was with AT&T and they’d said they’d have two devices later in their fiscal second quarter.”
The BlackBerry 9800 will be the first smartphone from the company to have a sliding design. Apart from that, the set is expected to come with a full QWERTY keyboard and some other features like a 5MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and expandable memory up to 4GB.
