Actress Renee Zellweger of ‘Chicago’ fame will be producing the flick, ‘Pillage’ which is a adaption of Brantly Martin's novel with the same name. The actress acquired the rights of the book to turn it into movie.
It is said that Zellweger will produce ‘Pillage’ with Kevin Frakes of PalmStar Entertainment. Meanwhile, John Krokidas will don the director’s hat for ‘Pillage’ which is scheduled to go on floors in the first half of next year in New York.
‘Pillage’ set in Manhattan focuses on the four best friends who rebel against their dead-end lives by searching for the perfect party in the downtown nightlife scene.
