The heart-throb of thousands of girls, Ranbir Kapoor wishes to be a director in the future. The actor moved his first step towards his goal by directing The Making of Barfee. Barfee is his upcoming flick.

 

After the movie releases, The Making of Barfee will be added on the movie’s DVD. Apart from Ranbir, Ileana D'Cruz and Priyanka Chopra are working on the movie.

 

A source said, "He is super-excited about directing the segment. It was director Anurag Basu's idea. He explained to Ranbir that it should be made from an actor's perspective. He wants him to showcase his sensibility on cinema. Ranbir has assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali during Black and has a good technical knowledge of film-making."

 

Ranbir will start directing the footage with a special camera after the shooting starts.

 

UTV’s (the film's producers), Siddharth Roy Kapoor said, "Nothing's been confirmed yet. But yes, we were toying with the idea as it would be interesting to see the making of the film from an actor's point of view. It hasn't been tried so far."
