‘Radio’ Movie Has Recovered Investment, Says Himesh Reshammiya Himesh Reshammiya |
Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya says that the money spent on making ‘Radio’ has been recovered through its music. Himesh’s previous films, ‘Karzzzz’ and ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’ were a disaster at the box office.
‘Radio’ was made at a budget of Rs.60 million. "Thankfully, the money invested in making the film was recovered through music," Reshammiya said.
His last release ‘Karzzzz’ couldn't recover the money because it was made at Rs.420 million, says Reshammiya.
"The makers spent Rs.420 million in the making of 'Karzzzz'. It was impossible to recover the money only through music," he said.
Reshammiya, who made an entry into acting with ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’, is hoping that ‘Radio’ will do good business at the box office. The film releases on December 3. He has teamed up with Sonal Sehgal and Shehnaz Treasurywala in his third movie.
"My last two films were super flops but my instinct says that this one will do well," said Reshammiya who has completed 100 films as a composer with ‘Radio’.
