Rachel Mcadams Furious About Public Interest In Nude Scenes Rachel McAdams |
According to Hollywood actress, Rachel McAdams, the devastating public interest in nude scenes in movie adds pressure on the actors and makes them “nervous” about stripping off on screen.
According to her, nude scenes for a role should be considered a part of the job.
But, she admits that many stars do avoid shedding their dress as they fear that the shots will end up on the Internet.
According to her, the celebrity-obsessed culture is scaring actors away from controversial naked scenes.
“When you’re playing a fictional character, it’s (being naked) as normal and mundane as eating breakfast,” Contactmusic quoted McAdams as having told Parade magazine.
She added: “What bothers me is our culture’s obsession with nudity. It shouldn’t be a big deal, but it is. I think this overemphasis with nudity makes actors nervous. There’s the worry about seeing one’s body dissected, misrepresented, played and replayed on the Internet.”
