Priyanka Chopra is now an established name in the Bollywood industry and she has no reasons for committing voluntarily for a role. But, in order to save Anurag Basu, she recently opted for a role in his movie which other actresses didn’t accept.
She has just wrapped up the shooting of the movie, ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ and now instead of relaxing for some time, she is there to save director friend Anurag Basu.
Anurag Basu recently faced the debacle of ‘Kites’ and now he has another problem in his upcoming movie ‘Silence’. He wants an actress in the movie who can play the role of a mentally challenged girl, but the other top actresses like Asin and Katrina Kaif turned down his offer.
When Priyanka came to know about the whole story, she herself stepped ahead to take the role. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of a deaf and mute hero in the movie.
The movie is a biopic of Kishore Kumar and it will be a movie based on mentally and physically challenged people.
