To a great surprise even her co-star Kangna Ranuat happened to share with her a scoop of cream, Priyanka proves to be lucky for others. As Kangna happen to share the ‘Best Supporting Actress Award.’
For Priyanka Chopra it is for the first time she is honored with a ‘National Award’ for Madhur Bhandarkar's critically acclaimed film ‘Fashion.’
Elated Priyanka who from New York told online that it is the biggest moment of her life to acclaim a national award, the actress said: "I will give full credit to Madhur (Madhur Bhandarkar) and the crew. I am really honoured. National Award is the biggest honour of our country and I am really honoured to have received one."
She was in whole praise for Madhur Bhandarkar and in her twitter she stated, "Thank you Madhur, Ronnie, Kangana, Mughda, Arjan, Arbaaz and the cast and crew!! A huge shout to my team and all of u!! God is kind!!! Yaaaaayyy!!"
For Madhur Bhandarkar he was equally happy for Priyanka and Kangana, as well as for the strategy he has maintained with series of national awards for his films. Initially he had bagged for his films ‘Page 3’ and ‘Traffic Signal’.
Priyanka was so humbled by the award that she added, "Congrats Kangana!! I would not have been Meghna Mathur (Priyanka's character) without you!! You deserve it!”
