The princess of millions hearts, Princess Diana who died in a car accident in 1997 will be remembered by her fans as the beautiful dress which she donned as a teenager will be put on auction on Tuesday.
A bold black gown became sizzling hot when it was donned by Princess Diana in 1981. According to the sources the gown is expected to fetch around $72,000 at the auction.
Auctioneer Kerry Taylor of London's Pall Mall quoted, “The British public hadn't seen a potential royal (Princess Diana) who was young and sexy.”
Princess Diana who remained the focus of worldwide media scrutiny married Prince Charles on 29 July 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral. But, the couple separated in 1990s following the alleged affair of Charles with his ex-girlfriend Camilla Shand.
