Prince William & Kate Middleton To Sit With Priests Before Marriage Prince William |
Even though roses might be sprinkled upon Prince William and fiancee Kate Middleton on April 29 but before that they need to meet some important people. Palace officials informed that the pair is expected to meet the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams and Bishop of London Richard Chartres in order to understand the importance of vows they will take.
Rowan and Richard will also be involved at the wedding ceremony that will take place in London`s Westminster Abbey.
Spokeswoman of William, Maria Papworth was quoted as saying, "It`s customary for a priest to meet with the couple before their wedding".
This meet will be kind of marriage preparation for William & Kate. The pair will have discussions on how to sort out marital disagreements and the changes that come with time.
According to the custom, such meetings should take place in groups, but as they both are soon to be royal pair, talks will be held in private and will be strictly confidential. Public participation or involvement will be strictly barred.
But the question that arises is such attention was given to the disastrous marriage of Prince Williams’ parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana that ended in a divorce in 1996; however, St James Palace refused to comment on it.
