After so many weeks of screening and auditions for the new face of Anandi alias Balika Vadhu, the hunt has finally come to an end. Among the two final contestants Pratyusha and Nivedita, Pratyusha has become the grown up Balika Vadhu.

 

The very popular television soap ‘Balika Vadhu’ on Colors took a five years leap yesterday and invited a change in the main characters of the serial. Now, Avika Gor, the favorite and famous face of Anandi will not be seen any more, as a grown up Anandi has taken the lead now.

 

The nationwide votes for the new Anandi face have finally selected the new face. Pratyusha is from Jamshedpur and since the serial is also set on the backdrop of Rajasthani culture, she will inherit the character very fast. Since, the replacement for small Anandi has already been done, so the hunt for the face of a grown up ‘Jagya’ will also begin now.

 

Now the serial shows that Anandi and Jagya are both sent to their homes until they attain puberty and until that time they are shown separated for five years.
