German luxury car maker’s new creation Porsche 918 Spyder is now available for pre-orders. The company has officially announced, according to sources. The much-touted Porsche 918 Spyder would, however, be available only in 2013.
Porsche 918 Spyder car has been priced around 6,45,000 Euros much higher than the speculated price. The price of the Porsche 918 was expected around 4 lakh Pounds.
The company has started taking orders now and since this is a limited edition, the high-end luxury car would be sold on first come first basis. So the company would strictly manufacture 918 units of the Porsche 918 Spyder car.
The production is scheduled somewhere around September 2013 and the supercar would be available starting November of the same year. The company would assemble the car in its Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant.
With three litres of fuel consumption for every 100km, the car’s emission level would be just 70 grams CO2 per kilometre. The super sports car is also capable of starting acceleration of 100 kmph in less than 3.2 seconds and can reach the top speed of 320 kmph.
