Pioneer has introduced to the markets four new A/V receivers to enhance users overall cinematic experience at home.
This is an endeavor by Pioneer to obtain improved lucidity, detail and powerful ‘quick response’ from uncompressed Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks used in Blu-ray Disc entertainment. The four new elite A/V Receiver models include SC-25, SC-27, VSX-21TXh and VSX-23TXH.
Pioneer’s Elite SC-25 and SC-27 A/V receivers slot in a Direct Energy HD Class D amplifier which features ICE Power technology. This technology ensures exceptional reproduction of high resolution multi-channel, hi-fi with compact audio and endows with the finest home theatre experience.
The above two Pioneer models utilise Burr-Brown analog to other digital converters. This, to the
amusement of entertainment enthusiasts helps in sustaining high resolution performance all through the processing sequence. Determined by the AIR Studios and THX sound tuning and certification program, both the Elite SC-25 and SC-27 go through precise audio receivers when incorporated into the latest entertainment systems offer highly developed processing in high resolution audio playback.
With the growing augmentation in technology, Elite SC-27 claims to be the industry’s first Class d amp design to achieve THX Ultra2 Plus with AIR Studio monitor certifications. The SC-27 offers a 2nd Zone Component video output for multi-zone HD integration. It also includes a professional-grade Burr-Brown 192 KHz/24-Bit sampling rate converter (SRC) for ultra-wide powerful range and superior jitter reduction.

The Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH and VSX-23TXH modes will be out in stores at suggested prices of USD $ 700 and $ 900, respectively from July, 2009. Pioneer’s Elite SC-25TXH and SC-27 will be hitting shelves at suggested prices of $ 1700 and $ 2000, respectively by August, 2009. Customers can avail a limited warranty of one year with Pioneer products and two years with Pioneer Elite products when purchased from an authorised dealer.
