Pamela Anderson’s PETA Advertisement Banned Pamela Anderson |
The advertisement of American actress, Pamela Anderson, who is known for her roles on the television series, like, ‘Baywatch’ and V.I.P, has been banned by the American airport authorities, insisting that the ad is too sexy.
The actress filmed a short video for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in which she is portraying the role of an airport security officer who strips passengers who do not follow her instructions of strict 'no fur or leather' policy.
PETA is known for making racy videos with celebrities. In PETA videos the celebrities insist that that they would rather 'go naked' than wear fur.
The advertisement was set to air in New York's three airports but the bosses pulled the video from the airport. The bosses of the airport have maintained that the film will offend passengers with young children.
The representative for CNN Airport Network wrote to PETA bosses to explain the commercial is "particularly sensitive because children make up part of the demographic in airports".
Meanwhile, PETA has decided to show the film on in-flight entertainment.
