Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has offered a prime-time slot with Duchess of York on her own cable channel to be launched in 2011.
The offer comes after Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson appeared on the Oprah Show in May where she apologised after being caught asking for $775,220 to provide access to Prince Andrew - a deal the prince knew nothing about.
"Oprah made the call this week. They spoke in person and, for Sarah, the offer is a ray of light at the end of a very dark tunnel," said a source close to the Duchess.
"Oprah has known Sarah for some time and the Duchess went on Oprah's show to explain herself after her most recent scandal. Oprah has always been impressed by Sarah’s ability to pick herself up and reinvent herself."
