‘Once Upon A Time...’ Coiled Once Again Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai |
Difficulties have been there right from the stage of inception of the movie, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’. But now just two days before its release, Haji Mastan’s daughter, Shamshad has raised a row again and she has questioned the producers of the movie regarding the description of her late father’s life.
Some weeks before, Haji Mastan’s adopted son had also raised certain issues regarding the release of the movie, but his petition was turned down in the court. His argument was rejected by the court by asking the producers to put a disclaimer notice saying that the movie is not based on Haji’s life.
Now, it’s the turn of Shamshad again to hinder the release of the movie. She has sought to know Ekta Kapoor and Sunil Shetty that on what grounds had the publicity material of the movie claimed that it was based on Mastan’s life.Ekta and Sunil are the producers of the movie with the banner of Balaji Telefilms and Popcorn Entertainment respectively.
She was present in the court on Tuesday with her lawyer Munir Ahmed. She wants an access to the movie prints before its release so that she can ascertain that the story is not about her father and he is not shown as an anti-social element in the movie.
