Nokia has launched its premium version of the handset, the 6700 Classic ‘Gold’. This is what the people talk about the premium version of the handset.
The 6700 Classic ‘Gold’ is somehow close to the 6700 Classic edition. The new handset has a steel cover covered with 18 carats of gold and a metal keymat to make it stylish.
The ‘Gold’ version sports 2.2 inch QVGA display with about 16 million colors. The new set has also a set of special wallpapers. The other features like GPS, Nokia Maps and HSDPA connectivity are there as like that of the other contemporary versions. There is also a 5MP camera with the 6700 Classic ‘Gold’ with autofocus option.
The Nokia 6700 classic ‘Gold’ handset is expected to be available in some selective markets in the first quarter next year. The phone is likely to be priced at around $546 (Rs. 25,000 approx.). However, the Indian customers have to wait for some time till the launch of this phone in Indian markets.
