Nokia has launched a new music-centric handset called the 5250 for its beloved fans. The new version is said to be a higher version of the existing 5230/5235 model(s).
Nokia 5250 boasts of a 2.8-inch TFT touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is fine in multimedia aspects with attributes like FM radio, Ovi Store, quad-band GSM/EDGE, GPRS, Ovi Share and Ovi Music Unlimited. However, Ovi Music Unlimited is restricted to some select regions only. There is also a 2MP camera to suffice the requirement for photography enthusiasts.
The set is pre-installed with Symbian^1 (S60v5 Touch) OS. It comes in four colour variants such as Black, White, Purple and Blue. The external memory of the handset can be augmented up to 16GB via microSD cards. The users can share photos directly to the web and access Ovi Store to install different apps like games. So, the 5230 promises to be a great buy for the customers.
Nokia 5250 music phone is expected to be available by the end of this year. And expectedly, the price would be around 115 EURO (Rs. 6,800 approx). As far as India is concerned, the handset may cost around Rs. 7,500.
