Expect the unexpected is what Hollywood is all about. The much talked about flick, ‘Iron Man 2’ is defeated by ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ in the box office collections when it released on Friday.
The remake of Wes Craven's 1984 film, ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ which hit the silver screen on Friday recorded the estimated $32.2 million collection.
‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ is about Freddy who follows the dreams of Nancy and her friends as they discover that they all share a common link from their childhood and were all physically and sexually abused by Freddy before he was murdered by their vengeful parents.
Meanwhile, talking about the big budget and most awaited flick, ’Iron Man 2’, it recorded a successful opening overseas and now is looking forward for its release in North America on May 7th.
