Murray's Girlfriend Investigated Michael Jackson |
Los Angeles prosecutors investigating the death of Michael Jackson have been examining emails between Dr. Conrad Murray and his girlfriend in a bid to collect evidence against the physician; newly-released documents have shown.
Murray stands accused of administering the powerful anaesthetic Propofol to the King of Pop minutes before he went into cardiac arrest and died last June (09).
He has pleaded not guilty to one count of manslaughter. But Murray wasn't the only person under police investigation - new documents released on Friday (26Mar10) reveal cops obtained a search warrant against Nicole Alvarez, the mother of Murray's baby, to gain access to her email account.
Prosecutors believed Murray could have shared vital information about his treatment of Jackson and his death to Alvarez.
In the warrant, authorities say, "During the course of the investigation (the lead detective) also learned that Dr. Murray made numerous telephone calls to Nicole Alvarez leading up to and including the day Jackson died."
The affidavit includes discussion of a "shipment", believed to be Propofol, which Murray allegedly had delivered from a Las Vegas pharmacy to Alvarez's home in Santa Monica, California.
