Miley Cyrus’ Father Wants Her To Continue Her Twittering Miley Cyrus |
Billy Ray, the father of teenage sensation Miley Cyrus, has urged his superstar daughter to relaunch her Twitter.com account after abruptly deleting her page on the social networking site.
The Hannah Montana star, 16, was among a host of celebrities who logged onto the site to post minute-by-minute updates on their thoughts and whereabouts.
But she shut down her page on Wednesday (07Oct09) after reportedly tiring of gossip about her love life.
In her final message, she appeared to reference her rumoured romance with movie co-star Liam Hemsworth, saying, "FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason."
Fans have been pleading with Cyrus to get back online and now her own dad has 'tweeted' his support for the appeal.
Asking her to follow her own song advice, Billy Ray Cyrus says, "I understand 'it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch.' But listen to the words of your songs 'Stand… for what ya believe in'…Remember?
"Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born 'Destiny Hope Cyrus' for a reason. You can't leave everyone now. We r countin on u (sic)."
