Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” Took Just Three Minutes Michael Jackson |
Late pop king Michael Jackson wrote his chart-busting classic "Billie Jean" in just three minutes.
The King of Pop was travelling in a car with two of his brothers in the early 1980s when he hit upon the idea of penning a song about a female fan waiting outside his home and he pulled out a pad and pen to put down some lyrics.
"The fastest song he ever wrote was 'Billie Jean'. He said the lyrics tumbled out of his head in one continuous, rapid stream," said Jackson's former plastic surgeon Steven Hoefflin.
